I picked Nicholas Sparks because I've seen many of his movies and they were all very good and I wanted to see if his books were like the movies. I want to know more about Nicholas Sparks. A lot of his books and movies were based off of love scenes and I always wondered if they were based off his past or if he just liked writing about love stories. He's a really good author and the way he writes and makes his movies makes me wonder where he gets all these ideas from. The way Nicholas Sparks writes really keeps my attention because he is so detailed with everything. I want to continue to read more of his books and see if the writes the same as he did in the ones I've read so far.

ReplyDeleteThe character I pick is Noah. I picked Noah because the way he expresses his feelings and emotions is really well for a guy. Noah is in The Notebook and he’s had quite a past with Allie. Allie ends up coming to see Noah years later when she’s engaged. She came to see Noah because she thought she might have feelings for him and she wasn’t quite sure if she was ready to commit to Lon, her fiancé but Allie wasn’t the type to say that. Noah knew she wasn’t sure. Noah was confused as to why Allie was even there to see him if she was engaged. Noah and Allie met in the summer when they were just 17 and they had a fling for the summer but Noah never forgot about her when they ended things.
I picked Noah as the character to talk about because the way he describes how he feels in the book is really detailed. Most guys just keep it short and simple, but Noah wanted Allie to know how he felt and he knew how Allie felt but she didn’t want to admit it. Noah is one of the main characters and he’s a big part of the story because it really mainly is all about Noah and Allie.
My feelings on the new book I'm reading are, its very similar to the movie. The last song is very detailed. The author is very detailed to every step that happens in this book. It makes me think of the movie because when I'm reading the book, i remember the parts from the movie.
ReplyDeleteI really like the way this author writes his books. Nicholas Sparks starts the book off by telling a detailed day or a specific start to the book of some sort of story. Hes very good at expressing how these characters feel and I feel he does a very good job at telling his stories. Part of me feels that these experiences have happened to him because the way he writes it feels so real.
When writing, Nicholas Sparks uses a lot of description. He goes into a lot of detail. If he is telling a scene or where one of the characters are at, he goes into depth detail about the scenery and what's around. If the suns out and shining, he'll write about that. Nicholas Sparks doesn't always write from one point of view. He try's to switch it up from different characters and there points of how they feel or about what is going on.
ReplyDeleteHe uses dialogue, towards the beginning he didn't use a lot but now that more characters are getting involved, there's a lot more dialogue. This all contributes to the mood because of what Nicholas Sparks is writing about, he goes into detail and when he does that it makes you picture how everything is and how something may look or what someone is wearing because of how he descries everything so well. Most of the themes that Nicholas Sparks writes about, are always love stories. They all have something to do with love and then something tragic happens. So in the beginning of the book, it is all happy and exciting when the two characters meet up, but then you know that towards the middle of the book, there is something tragic that is going to happen and you just know that because of the style and that is how he writes.
My plan for this project is too make a poster and put the different movies that Nicholas Sparks has made and put them throughout the poster and make a timeline to show the different books and movies. This visual will best convey to the audience because it will catch there attention when they see the different kinds of movies and books he has made.
ReplyDeleteI think this will also be a good visual because it can show the audience that Nicholas Sparks does a lot of movies and they are similar to the books. The books have more details but the movies are very well choreographed and they show a story. Theres always a love scene to Nicholas Sparks and I want the audience to know that not just girls would watch or read his books and movies. Guys can too and i want the audience to know that.

ReplyDeleteI wanted to read more of his books and find out more information about him. That is the main pro about this project. I found an author I was interested in and once I finished a book I started another one. This encourages me to communicate with others because I was so into these books, that I didn't mind talking about his books or the information I found out about him.
This helped me learn about my author because once I found out how personal his stories were I wanted to find out more information about him. This helps with research and organizational skills because I took what I learned about his past and made a timeline. I started with what I read and what it was about and then I wrote about where and why the ideas came from. his project helped me learn a lot about my author.
