Detective Michael Bennett, he is the main character In Tick Tock by James Patterson. He is a smart, strong, and brave individual he’ll do anything to protect his family. He also takes his job serious because in one of the cases he was working on he almost lost his life. He is always determined to solve the case he is in no matter what it is. He has 7 adopted kids because his wife couldn’t have any babies and his wife passed away. It was hard for him at first but he had to move on and now he is a ladies man and he can’t decide what girl he wants to to date either Emily or Mary. Other than that he’s a good character to write about than the other in the story because others are the bad guys.
He connects to me because i want to be in Law Enforcement. That’s the only thing i could think of describing him to me, but his significance is important because he is the main character in the story and the story reveals around him. Without him i don’t know how the story will start out if he wasn’t apart of it.
I just started a new book by the same author and name of the book is Step On A Crack. It involves the same charaters from the last book. The sene in this book is at a funeral because the bad guys ended up killing the first lady and that was their plan. After everyone is at the funeral for the first lady the bad guys come in with masks, rubber bullets, and tear gas. I forgot to mention that a lot of powerful people were at the funeral too including the former president.
ReplyDeleteSo thats when Michael Bennett comes in. They use him to talk to the armed people to let them go. At first the armed people let go of a lot of civialians but then again they are still holding hostage of 32 more which were powerful people like politicans, billionaires, and superstars. The former president was later kicked out because he was annoying the bad guys but they end up beating him too before letting him go. That's were the story gets intense because they don't know what will happen next in the story.
ReplyDeleteJames Patterson writes in one and third person combine depending on which book you’re reading. He has different types of series like Alex Cross and story with Michael Bennett, both of those stories are about crime and basically all the book he wrote have to do something with crime. I haven’t read one of his book that doesn’t have to do with crime. The story titles he puts on his books doesn’t give it away I think the naming of his books is kind of weird but yet again his books always seem to caught my interest. He always seems to write in first and third person in all his books that i read. It fits the book well because it actually makes sense because he goes through the main character point of view and the bad person point of view which is great. I like how it shows the 2 points of view on the person.
So far the books that i read starts off with the bad character doing his crime and how he got away from it. I think its cool how the books open like that because it catches the person attention because of how it starts off with and then you read up to see what happens and how he gets busted by the main character. At times there is a little bit of dialogue not all the time its rare depending on the book you're reading. His writing brings out the mood and how the setting takes place. At times the mood is set depending on the character how they are reacting to the situation. Overall his writing is good to me because he wants me to keep reading his books.
I might take ones of his books and just tape information about it on the book pages. So it won't be long I would tape the pages together and have information on every 50 pages taped together. Ill take the hardcover off and I would but the title of my project on it instead of the really cover. I think this would be good because it's an easy way to show the information found on a book.
ReplyDeleteI will explain the way he writes on the pages and I would make a bio to just incase my peers don't know who he is. I would add pictures on the pages as well so they could see who he is and it'll look nice on the book with the information. The working question I'm doing is does he write any other genres instead of crime and mystery.
